The Club House is Launched!

Newark, NJ – June 21, 2007 – Over 300 people attended the grand opening for newest addition to the revitalization of the Central Ward, the Clubhouse, an innovative athletic and arts complex. NHA Executive Director Keith Kinard, Mayor Booker, Don King and a host of others celebrated today as the Club House opened. Today we are again bringing hope and empowerment to the residents of Newark, pushing back crime, despair, and hopelessness with the force of a knockout punch delivered by the boxing greats joining me," Mayor Booker said.

The Clubhouse was developed by Roizman Development Inc, Centerline Capital Group, and the Newark Housing Authority.
