The Newark Housing Authority unveiled a new and improved community room at Stephen Crane Village, 4 Hawthorne Lane, in July 2009.
The transformation included new floors, tiles and all new fixtures. The space is for community events and the building manager’s office. A computer lab with Internet access is being constructed and will be ready in September.
All community rooms in our North Ward buildings have now been renovated to the highest standards.
