Newark Housing Authority Office Closure:

In observance of Independence Day, all Newark Housing Authority offices will close early today, Thursday, July 3, at 2:00 PM, and will remain closed all day Friday, July 4.

Normal business operations will resume on Monday, July 7.

The City of Newark, NJ - City Hall has activated a Code Red through Thursday, June 26 at 8:00 AM due to extreme heat, with temperatures exceeding 100°F.

To support our residents, we have opened designated cooling centers at several of our properties. These locations are available to provide relief during the hottest hours of the day.
